NOT A LIST OF EXPECTATIONS
Before anyone reaches for the keyboard: no one is owed anything by Richard Heart.
He isn't required to bridge tokens, court exchanges, fund builders, post a chart, or
even open Twitter in the morning. We are not pretending otherwise.
This card is not a demand letter. It is a performance review of what has, and has not, happened
in the years since the chain went live โ measured against the only fair benchmark available:
what a founder who cares about the chain that they themselves created would reasonably be doing for it.
Every grade is based on observable, public action โ on-chain data, recorded statements, public moves. No mind-reading, no leaks, no rumors treated as fact.
Where motive is unclear, we put it under Community Speculation and label it as such. Speculation is never used to set the grade.
If a grade is wrong, the reply is data, not feelings. Crying in the casino won't move a single letter. Show a different fact and the page updates.
Richard has no involvement here. This is fan-built. Don't shoot the messenger โ we paid attention because we hold a bag and care about the chain.
If you want a puff piece, there are plenty of YouTube channels for that.
If you want a fan-fiction takedown, there's an entire subreddit. This is neither.
It's a report card. It will be graded fairly. And it will be updated as facts change.

DeFi & Cypherpunk Principles
no VCs ยท self-custody ยท sovereignty
Community Desire
"Keep the chain a place that is genuinely free of VCs, middlemen, and permissioned gatekeepers โ and keep extending that posture rather than letting it drift."
The chain was sold on a strong DeFi / sovereign-money / anti-establishment narrative โ and that narrative is what the original holders sacrificed for.
It has, to its credit, stayed VC-free, KYC-free at the protocol level, and entirely permissionless to use. That is rarer than it sounds in 2026.
The room for further upside is in privacy primitives, more decentralized infra, and self-custody-first defaults โ extending what is already there rather than replacing it.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
What is genuinely working
Sacrifice model โ no VCs, no founder allocations sold under the table
Permissionless mainnet, KYC-free at the protocol layer
Open-source EVM stack, forks welcome
Self-custody is the default, not the exception
Where there is still room
Load-bearing infra (RPCs, bridge, explorer) is more concentrated than the rhetoric implies
No native privacy primitives shipped on top of the EVM base
Real structural decentralization (governance, funding, ops) is still mostly aspirational
Cypherpunk credibility is preserved by repeated action, not earned once
Community Speculation
The "no VCs" stance is a genuine line in the sand โ that is why it has held.
Where the chain is permissioned, it is more by neglect than by design.
Privacy primitives are low priority not because they are unwanted, but because they don't move price this quarter.
The cypherpunk pitch is one of the few defensible moats this chain has against the next VC L1.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Teacher's Comments
Credit where it is due โ this is the subject the chain
actually carries.
No VCs, sacrifice-funded, permissionless, open-source,
self-custody-first. In a 2026 landscape full of polished
VC-aligned L1s, that posture is genuinely differentiated and
non-trivial to maintain. The remaining gap โ privacy primitives,
structurally decentralised infra, real governance โ is where a
B+ becomes an A.
"Stop letting the chart bleed forever. Do โ or say โ something that signals the founder still cares whether PLS goes up."
PLS is down ~95% from launch-sacrifice valuation. The chart is the chain's resume.
Every ecosystem economic โ gas, grants, validator margin, builder pay โ leans on PLS price.
No founder activity, no chart support, no narrative reset. The line just goes down.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside of acting
Restored confidence pulls capital back on-chain
Ends the "founder has abandoned ship" read
Validator + builder retention
Kills the doom-loop narrative pre-cycle
Cost of acting
Any price-talk or promotion is what got him sued in the first place โ every line is a fresh SEC exhibit
Buybacks cost real treasury
Holders might dump on his pumps
Community Speculation
True belief: you have to trust that RH is playing 5D chess.
He's still shaking out the weak hands. (cope)
Re-engaging at all re-anchors the chain socially to one man.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Teacher's Comments
Two years of vertical down with no leadership posture from the founder.
Whatever the strategy is, it isn't working โ and the playbook hasn't
adjusted once. The chart is the single biggest community-facing data
point on the chain, and it is being treated like someone else's problem.

The Live Streams
YouTube ยท TWITTER ยท Twitch
Community Desire
"Bring back the streams. or tell the community the reason why & the conditions required for them to start back up."
RH streams were the de-facto chain news service during launch year.
They educated, retained, and recruited holders better than any marketing budget could.
Cadence has collapsed from weekly streams to long gaps with only the occasional pre-recorded video โ and personal-account posting that doesn't address the chain's situation
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside
Free, unfiltered messaging direct to the holders
Strongest differentiator vs anonymous L1 founders
Recruiting + morale tool โ no agency required
End the "ghost founder" vibe
Costs
Time
Risk of exposing location
Exposure to direct community criticism
Every clip becomes a legal exhibit
Community Speculation
His ongoing legal situation is the reason he's gone dark on stream.
Genuine belief that the chain doesn't need a frontman anymore.
Streaming wouldn't move price anyway โ you can't talk a market out of where it wants to go.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Teacher's Comments
The community's primary information channel has been switched off without replacement or explanation.
A 60-second post saying "I can't speak publicly while the case is open"
would be a 10x upgrade over the current tone-deaf cadence.

Block Explorer & Critical Infra
scan ยท RPC ยท bridge
Community Desire
"The chain's basic plumbing โ explorer, public RPC, bridge โ should just work. After two years, it still doesn't."
Block explorer outages and stale-data periods are chronic, not freak events.
The official explorer is, candidly, not fit for purpose — community-built explorers carry the load that the chain's flagship tool should be carrying.
The bridge has had multi-day silent outages with no public post-mortem.
Public RPCs are throttled and unreliable; any serious user self-hosts or pays a third party.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside of fixing
First impression doesn't break for new wallets
Bridge uptime = capital inflow uptime
Builders pick chains where the RPC doesn't lie
Cheap relative to almost any other founder spend
Downside / friction
Ongoing ops cost โ needs a team, not a one-off
Funding it from the founder pile invites "who controls the chain" optics
Third-party vendors (Gypsy Labs etc.) already partially fill the gap
Community Speculation
Original sacrifice runway is thinning; ops is the first thing cut.
No clear public owner of these services โ accountability is diffuse on purpose.
Core team considers current uptime "fine for our usage."
The chain is genuinely on autopilot with no one driving infra.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Teacher's Comments
Two years in, the explorer still bricks under load.
For a chain whose entire pitch is "the cheapest gas in crypto," the
floor of basic functionality is not where it should be.

Tier-1 CEX Listings
PLS ยท PLSX ยท HEX
Community Desire
"Get PLS, PLSX and HEX listed on a real Tier-1 exchange โ Coinbase, Binance, Kraken โ so retail can actually buy the chain without insane friction."
Tier-1 listings are still the single biggest price/visibility unlock in crypto.
Without one, the chain is invisible to 95% of normie buyers and most traditional press.
Every L1 in the top 50 is on at least one Tier-1. PulseChain is on zero.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside
Massive new buyer pool overnight
Kills the "ghost chain" narrative
Easy on-ramp for non-crypto-native buyers
Legitimizes the chain to mainstream press
Downside
Listing fees, market-maker spend
KYC / compliance optics
Centralization tradeoff
Insider front-running risk pre-listing
Community Speculation
RH refuses on principle โ pay-to-list is "everything wrong with crypto."
Open SEC posture makes any Tier-1 lawyer instantly veto the listing.
Tier-1s won't touch an asset whose founder is the asset's largest public personality.
The strategy is genuinely DEX-only forever and the wait is the message.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Teacher's Comments
Two years on, zero Tier-1 listings. Whatever the reason โ
principle, lawyers, strategy, or all three โ the result is the same:
a chain effectively walled off from retail. A founder this loud should
either be moving the needle here โ by acquiring an existing crypto
exchange, or building a Tier-1 exchange from scratch to guarantee
PulseChain has a Tier-1 venue to live on. Right now, neither is happening.

Staying Current
metas ยท culture ยท ground-truth
Community Desire
"An L1 founder shouldn't be the last person to notice his own chain's metas. Read the room before talking to it."
Crypto culture turns over in months โ a year offline is a different chain.
PulseChain has had multiple native metas (pump.tires the most visible recent one) the founder reached late or not at all.
Personal-account takes routinely land flat because they're calibrated to a chain state that's months stale.
Catching up is free: lurk active community channels, skim community dashboards, listen to recent Spaces.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside of fixing
Decisions reflect the chain's actual state, not a stale model
Public takes stop landing flat
Native metas get amplified in time to matter, not after
Founder โ community gap closes at near-zero cost
Downside / friction
Some of what comes in will be unfair, wrong, or hostile
Requires the discipline to listen without responding in real time
Single-circle intake just relocates the bias
Community Speculation
The bubble around the founder filters criticism out before it lands.
Years of being The Voice makes consuming other voices feel unnatural.
Legal posture reframes reading-the-room as a liability rather than basic founder duty.
The chain feels like autopilot in his head, so keeping current feels optional.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.
D
โ ISSUED โ
Teacher's Comments
The founder is consistently behind his own chain's metas,
and the takes that do land read as out-of-step.
Crypto doesn't forgive long stretches outside the active conversation.
Closing the gap costs nothing and takes under half a working day a month โ
no good reason it's still open.
CRYPTO 107
Keeping the Community Current
framing ยท talking points ยท feedback loop
Community Desire
"If your thinking has updated, say so. The community can't defend a position you haven't articulated in two years."
Years without a leadership-level update leave holders arguing from a playbook the founder may have already moved on from.
Believers in the original philosophy read the silence as hypocrisy โ they have no access to whatever reasoning has shifted underneath.
Crypto turns over fast: metas, narratives, dominant voices all rotate quarterly. The chain's public framing has not.
Closing the gap is one plain-English post or short video plus a refresh cadence โ under half a working day a month.
Cost / Benefit Analysis
Upside of fixing
Community gets a single source of truth to quote, share, and defend
The "hypocrisy" perception collapses once the reasoning is on the record
Consistent talking points propagate instead of being invented in real time
A trusted ground-truth contact closes the loop in both directions
Downside / friction
An updated frame exposes prior contradictions if it isn't addressed honestly
Inconsistent messaging across channels does more damage than continued silence
The trusted community contact becomes a target โ needs cover, not exposure
Community Speculation
Legal posture has reframed any on-the-record update as risk, so silence is the default.
The prior framing was confident enough that there's no clean way to update without admitting drift.
The founder genuinely believes the original philosophy still applies and nothing needs updating.
The bubble doesn't surface that the community has already drifted from the old talking points.
โ Speculation only. None of this is used to set the grade.
The grade is set by what has, and has not, happened.

Two years without a leadership-level update of the world view,
and the gap is being filled by speculation.
Holders who still believe the original philosophy can't defend it
because they have no access to whatever has been re-thought in private.
One plain-English post, a refreshable set of talking points, and a trusted
community contact running the feedback loop would close most of it โ
at zero cost. Nothing in the way except the writing of it.
A Note Before You Leave
The format is a joke. The issues are not.
We picked a school-report visual because it makes the read fun.
The underlying concerns โ communications blackout, community block-explorers,
zero Tier-1 venues for retail โ are real, and they have
been chronic for years.
Rather than just criticise Richard, we have laid out a concrete
roadmap of things he could do โ with rough costs, risks, and upside
for each. None of it is mandatory. All of it is possible.
Credit where it is due โ this is the subject the chain actually carries. No VCs, sacrifice-funded, permissionless, open-source, self-custody-first. In a 2026 landscape full of polished VC-aligned L1s, that posture is genuinely differentiated and non-trivial to maintain. The remaining gap โ privacy primitives, structurally decentralised infra, real governance โ is where a B+ becomes an A.
Worth defending fiercely; worth extending deliberately.
